Welcome to ChurnAlert. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChurnAlert application ("App"), provided by Denis Bauer ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing or using ChurnAlert, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
ChurnAlert is an integration for Intercom that syncs Stripe's cancel_at_period_end field to Intercom, allowing businesses to trigger automated workflows and customer communications based on upcoming subscription cancellations.
2. Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have an active Intercom and Stripe account.
- Have authorization to integrate third-party applications with your Intercom workspace.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and authentication credentials.
- You agree to comply with Intercom and Stripe's terms of service.
- You shall not use ChurnAlert for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
4. Fees & Payments
- ChurnAlert may offer free and paid plans.
- Any applicable fees will be clearly outlined before purchase.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice.
5. Data Privacy & Security
- ChurnAlert does not store user data beyond what is necessary for API authentication (e.g., tokens stored in Redis for session persistence).
- We do not share or sell customer data.
- Your data is processed only to facilitate the Stripe-Intercom sync.
6. Termination
- You may stop using ChurnAlert at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that compromise the security of our service.
7. Disclaimers & Liability
- ChurnAlert is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service due to API rate limits, third-party service issues, or force majeure events.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
